1. The 5-Second Rule
TL;DR > A validation landing page has one goal: force the user to make a decision in 5 seconds. You must articulate the problem and your solution immediately.
When a user lands on your page, you have 5 seconds before they hit the "Back" button. If your headline says something vague like "Empowering the Future of Synergy," they will leave. Your headline must be brutally literal.
15%
A Good Conversion Rate
For a highly targeted B2B validation landing page, a 10% to 15% conversion rate (visitor to email signup) is considered a strong signal of demand.
2. The Anatomy of a High-Converting Page
1. The Hero Section: A clear Headline (What it is), a Subheadline (Who it's for and the benefit), and a Call-to-Action (CTA) button. 2. The Social Proof: Even if you haven't launched, add logos of companies your target users work for, or quotes from customer interviews (with permission). 3. The 'How It Works' Section: 3 simple steps explaining the mechanism of the product. 4. The Pricing Anchor: Add a pricing section, even if they can't buy it yet. You need to know if they will click on a button that says "$49/mo."

3. Faking the Product
To make the landing page believable, you need to run a "Smoke Test." Learn exactly what that is and how to execute it in What Is a Smoke Test?.
